EnergyGauge Office has released its latest version
of EnergyGauge USA with a free 15-day Try Before
You Buy feature. Anyone may download and use this
release for 15 days at no charge. To download, click
on the Download Now button below and save the download
file (USA2703.exe) to the directory of your choice.
Once the file download is completed, navigate to
the directory you chose and run (double click on)
the installation application file named USA2703.exe.

This
version of EnergyGauge is based on the newly proposed
Chapter 3 of the RESNET Standards. It uses the 2006
HERS Reference home standards and the 2006 NAECA
minimum hot water, air conditioner and heat pump
standards to perform "expanded" HERS calculations
based on total home energy use. Both the current
HERS Score and the new HERS Index are provided for
easy comparison, and HERS Ratings are performed
in accordance with both the 1999 Standards and the
2006 Standards so that users can easily compare
results.
This
new version of EnergyGauge also provides EPAct
2005 new home tax credit calculations in accordance
with the recently released rules of the IRS.
